HARBOUR WALK, LONSDALE QUAY MARKET & BEER TASTING EXPERIENCE

Tour Length: 3 Hours 30 Minutes

Beginning in the heart of Vancouver’s downtown core we will walk through the streets of the city, passing the shopping and entertainment districts. We will get on Vancouver’s light rail transit (LRT) system, called SkyTrain, and take a short ride to Waterfront Station, Vancouver’s largest public transportation hub. There we will board the SeaBus, the city’s catamaran passenger ferry that links Downtown Vancouver with the city of North Vancouver. The sailing will last approximately 12 minutes and will provide great views of Port Metro Vancouver, the North Shore Mountains, and much more as we make our way across Burrard Inlet, then arriving at Lonsdale Quay. After a guided tour of the are and the Lonsdale Quay Market, home to over 80 different artisanal shops and services including fresh meat, seafood, and produce, as well as gift and jewelry stores, and a wide variety of mouth watering prepared foods, you will have the opportunity to explore on your own, Once you’ve had a chance to check things out on your own we will head to Tap and Barrel Shipyards,, a large Brewpub what has more than 130 beers on tap, many rotated with the season. Each guest (19+) will receive a "flight" with five 5oz sample glasses of beers each guest can choose from their over 100 on tap beers. Guests will also be served shared nacho platters (1 platter per 4 guests). Afterward we will travel back to the SeaBus to cross back to Vancouver. The tour ends outside of Waterfront Station with easy access to public transit as well as taxi and ride sharing services. 
 

Guests have the option of choosing where they would like to be picked up which alters the Downtown Vancouver portion of the tour: 

• Option 1: Canada Place. Should you choose the pickup location you will be shown Canada Place (Vancouver's Cruise Ship Terminal), the Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre (including float plane terminal), Jack Poolle Plaza, and the Olympic Cauldron from the 2010 Winter Olympics hosted by Vancouver.

• Option 2: Robson Square. If picked up here you will view the Vancouver Art Gallery, Robson Square Ice Rink, Granville Street (Vancouver's nightlife entertainment district), and Pacific Centre Mall. 

Both options take up the same amount of time. Once the above listed sites are viewed both options conclude at Waterfront Station where you will be taken onboard the SeaBus. After this point the tour is the same for both options.
