TOUR DESCRIPTION:

Discover Vancouver’s waterfront from both sides of Burrard Inlet on this four-hour guided experience combining local stories, a scenic harbour crossing, market exploration, and beer tasting.

Your tour begins at Canada Place, home to Vancouver’s iconic white sails and cruise ship terminal. Explore the surrounding waterfront with your guide, taking in the Vancouver Convention Centre, Jack Poole Plaza, and the Olympic Cauldron from the 2010 Winter Games. Watch the activity around the floatplane terminal and discover how the harbour connects the city’s history with everyday life in Vancouver.

Continue to historic Waterfront Station, where you’ll board the SeaBus alongside locals travelling between Vancouver and the North Shore. The approximately 12-minute crossing offers views of the downtown skyline, the working harbour, and the North Shore Mountains—a chance to experience the city from the water while learning how to get around like a local.

Upon arrival in North Vancouver, enjoy a guided introduction to the waterfront and Lonsdale Quay Market. Discover the market’s mix of food vendors, specialty shops, and local offerings while your guide shares stories about the surrounding area. You’ll then have approximately 45 minutes of free time to browse, take photographs, or purchase a bite to eat.

Next, gather at Tap & Barrel Shipyards for a relaxed beer tasting and time to chat with your fellow guests. Each guest aged 19 and over receives a tasting flight featuring five beers, each served as a 5 oz sample. Youth and child tickets include a non-alcoholic beverage in place of the tasting. Food is available to purchase separately and is not included in the tour price.

Your experience concludes with a return SeaBus crossing to downtown Vancouver, offering another opportunity to enjoy the harbour views. The tour ends outside Waterfront Station, with convenient access to public transit, taxis, and rideshare services.
